Come visit the Children's Area!

The Jackson Parish Library would like to invite Parents and Caregivers to bring their little ones to visit us in our Children's Area at both our Main Branch in Jonesboro and our branch in Chatham. With the wide variety of children's literature in our collection, your child is sure to find a story they will love. Our children's areas are also equipped with a collection of children's DVDs, audio books and playaways that you can check out for you and your child to enjoy together. At the Main Branch we have four AWE Learning Stations that come pre loaded with fun and educational computer games designed by experts to help your child grow. There are three more AWE Learning Stations at our Chatham Branch. Both branches have tables and chairs for children to color and play. There are toys and book buddies at each branch and our Chatham Branch even has a Book Nook! We also host regularly scheduled children's and family programs throughout the year so make sure you check our calendar of events for frequent updates. We hope to see you at one of our library branches soon!
